A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ashley founded The Foundation for Sustainable Families, a non-profit dedicated to serving children, women, teens and their families. Her story has helped raise millions of dollars for non-profit organizations.

Change-Maker

Born in 1985 to a single teen mother, Ashley was in Florida’s foster care system by the age of three. She was shuttled between 14 homes and institutions, some quite abusive, before being adopted at age of 12.

Ashley has won national and international awards for her speaking, advocacy, and philanthropy. She has spoken on Capitol Hill and has been invited to the White House twice.

Through her foundation, public speaking, and policy work, Ashley has championed initiatives to improve child welfare, family preservation, and trauma-informed care. A licensed social worker, foster, and adoptive parent, she continues to dedicate her life to empowering youth and strengthing families across the nation.
